About The AIC Girls’ Senior School Loitokitok

The AIC Girls’ Senior School Loitokitok is a public girls’ secondary school located in Loitokitok, Kajiado County, Kenya. The school is sponsored by the Africa Inland Church (AIC) and is committed to providing quality education that promotes academic excellence, character development, talent development and responsible citizenship.

The school provides a supportive and empowering learning environment where girls are encouraged to discover their abilities, build confidence, develop their talents and pursue their aspirations. We believe that every learner has unique potential, and we strive to provide the guidance, opportunities and support necessary to help each girl realize that potential.

Boarding and Day School

The AIC Girls’ Senior School Loitokitok is a boarding and day school, providing flexible learning and accommodation options for learners from different communities and backgrounds.

Our boarding programme provides learners with a secure, structured and supportive environment where they can concentrate on their studies while developing independence, discipline, responsibility and positive relationships with their peers. The boarding experience is designed to complement classroom learning by providing opportunities for supervised study, co-curricular activities, personal development and character formation.

The day-school programme provides an opportunity for learners from the surrounding community to access quality education while continuing to live with their families. Day scholars participate fully in academic, co-curricular and school activities alongside boarding learners.

Whether a learner is a boarder or a day scholar, the school seeks to provide equal opportunities for learning, talent development, leadership and personal growth.

Holistic Education

At The AIC Girls’ Senior School Loitokitok, we believe that education goes beyond academic achievement. We focus on the holistic development of our learners by promoting:

  • Academic excellence
  • Discipline and responsibility
  • Leadership and teamwork
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Integrity and respect
  • Spiritual and moral development
  • Sports and athletics
  • Talent development
  • Community service

Through classroom learning, co-curricular activities, athletics, leadership opportunities and community engagement, our learners develop knowledge, skills, values and competencies that prepare them for life beyond school.

Nurturing Talent

Sports and co-curricular activities are an important part of school life. The school encourages learners to identify, develop and showcase their talents alongside their academic pursuits.

Our athletics programme continues to demonstrate the remarkable potential of our girls. The achievements of Josephine Sempeyo Mancha, a girl from The AIC Girls’ Senior School Loitokitok who has excelled in the 1500 metres at the international Under-20 level, are a source of great pride and inspiration to our school community.

Her journey demonstrates that with talent, discipline, determination, training and opportunity, a learner from our school can aspire to compete and excel on the international stage.

Our Partnership with AIC Church

The AIC Church is the sponsor of The AIC Girls’ Senior School Loitokitok. Through this sponsorship, the church contributes to the school’s Christian identity and the promotion of values such as integrity, discipline, compassion, responsibility, service and respect.

The school, however, is a public school operating within Kenya’s education system. We work collaboratively with education authorities, the Board of Management, the sponsor, parents and guardians, teachers, learners and the wider community to provide an effective and supportive learning environment.

Empowering Girls Through Education.

We believe that educating a girl is an investment in families, communities and the future of Kenya. We therefore strive to create an environment where every learner feels valued, supported and encouraged to achieve her potential.

Our goal is to develop confident, disciplined, knowledgeable and responsible young women who are prepared to pursue further education, careers, entrepreneurship, leadership and meaningful service to society.

From Learning to Leadership

At The AIC Girls’ Senior School Loitokitok, our commitment extends beyond academic results. We seek to prepare young women who can think critically, solve problems, embrace opportunities, demonstrate strong values and make a positive contribution to their families, communities and country.

We nurture minds, build character, develop talents and empower girls for a brighter future.
